Series of Lectures on Entrepreneurship. - open to all- WiSe 11/12: Entrepreneurship (Softskills, Ergänzungsmodul)

in cooperation with the Goethe Unibator.

The lecture series - open to all - will cover a variety of topics related to ENTREPRENEURSHIP. The course will offer a set of lectures by distinguished speakers covering the following areas:

5. Case Studies

The lecture series is organized in cooperation with the Goethe Unibator (http://www.goetheunibator.de/)

The languages of the lecture series is English and German.

6-8.07.2011 - One of our student attended the IBM EMEA Best Student Recognition Event 2011
ibmOn July 6-8, 2011, Martin Rosselli, student of Computer Science at the Institute of Informatik at the Goethe University, and part of a team of three students including Tobias Gontermann and Adam Hermann, under the supervision of Prof. Roberto V. Zicari, was selected by IBM to attend the Best Student Recognition Event, held in IBM innovation center in La Gaude, France. Mr. Rosselli was along with more than seventy students from all over Europe, Middle East and Africa.

FRANKFURT. Das World-Wide-Web hat ein gutes Gedächtnis. Selbst wer keine persönlichen Informationen oder Bilder in sozialen Netzwerken hinterlässt, hat Teil an einem Prozess, den der Informatiker Prof. Roberto V. Zicari als „digitale Selbst-Enthüllung“ bezeichnet. Wir hinterlassen Spuren in Form von Käufen in Onlineshops, Kommentaren in Web-Logs und Foren, der Verweildauer auf bestimmten Seiten oder den Links zu Nutzern oder Seiten, die wir verfolgt haben. Wie sich aus diesen Daten Nutzerprofile für vielfältigste Zwecke erstellen lassen, erklärt Zicari zum Auftakt einer Ringvorlesung über Web-Science, Unternehmertum, Innovation und Gesellschaft an der Goethe-Universität. Interessierte Bürgerinnen und Bürger sind dazu herzlich eingeladen. ....
